Embroidery is an art form which began with history of the human being, from various Paleolithic peoples learned how to attach shells, applique ornaments and, hemp threads to clothing to create “proto-embroidered”, and a means of human expression.
According to generation and cultural tradition techniques and motifs of embroidery have changed again and again, but it doesn’t have changed the sprits of artist even ethinic heritage in an each stich.
Embroidery works reflect the times and you can see the basis of cutural exchanges between races. So it is worth studying.
Trough exhibition and education, the Museum will study historical significance and expressive potential as well as its profound beauty, so we will endeavor to show you precious artifacts of textile.
